Wonder: Student Book Review

wonderI highly recommend the book Wonder by RJ Palacio. This book takes the reader through laughter and tears but certainly leaves the reader thinking about their actions towards others. This interesting book is told in first person which really makes the reader feel that they are taking part in the story. “The tears were so thick in my eyes I could barely see, but I couldn’t wipe them” (Wonder 78). This book had me wanting to comfort almost all the characters as they spoke of their hardships with August. I recommend this book to anyone eleven and older. This book is great for teenagers because it helps the reader think about what they have said in the past and will say to others in the future. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a truly inspiring story and a way to brighten their day every time they read it. – Sofia Griffin, 9th Grade
