Book Review: An Abundance of Katherines

While one oabundance of katherinesf the lesser-known novels by John Green, An Abundance of Katherines is a fresh addition into the world of fiction. The story follows two boys, Colin and Hassan, through their journey as they leave high school as well as Colin’s obsession with Katharines, which takes them on a trip of a lifetime. The nerd in me fell in love with this book. The quirky footnotes about math and even translations of Arabic words kept me intrigued and wanting to read more. I recommend this book to anyone just discovering John Green or just looking for a light read. Despite the math, the novel is easy to comprehend and fun to read. – Marcel Isper, 12th Grade
